17:00 — The egg coffee sunset ritual: silky cà phê trứng in hand as the sun dissolves behind Hanoi's largest lake.
08:30 — Private transfer south to Ninh Binh (approx. 2 hours), rice paddies and karst silhouettes rising as the expressway gives way to open countryside.
10:00 — Hoa Lu Ancient Capital: the temples of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang and Emperor Le Dai Hanh, incense drifting through thousand-year-old lacquerwork halls cradled by limestone ramparts.

08:00 — Private transfer to the Ha Long coast (approx. 3.5 hours, comfort stop included), countryside giving way to sea air as the highway curves toward the karst-studded gulf.
13:00 — Boarding Celia of the Bay, welcome drink in hand, cabin check-in beside sea-facing windows. 15:00 — Kayak or basket boat excursion into the hidden lagoons of Lan Ha Bay. 16:30 — Swimming stop at Ba Trai Dao cove, warm clear water beneath karst cliffs turning gold in late light.
18:00 — Sundeck cooking demonstration as spring rolls take shape and the sun sets over the bay. 19:30 — Dinner onboard; overnight at anchor.
07:00 — Breakfast on deck as morning mist lifts slowly off the water. 08:00 — Cave exploration or a visit to the Viet Hai fishing village on Cat Ba, a quiet stilt-house hamlet and a signature Lan Ha Bay experience.
10:00 — Brunch on deck as the cruise turns toward port. 11:30 — Return transfer to Hanoi via the New Highway (2.5–3 hours). 14:30 — Arrival in Hanoi, afternoon at leisure.

18:30 — Farewell dinner among the lantern-lit lanes of the Old Quarter.

Private transfer to Noi Bai Airport, timed to your flight, with a farewell from your guide. Departure-day transfers build in buffer time for Hanoi traffic; your guide monitors flight status and adjusts pickup accordingly.
